Arcade Fire on the Carrboro Town Commons

Friday we went to the Change Rocks/Obama Early Vote concert, where Arcade Fire and SuperChunk played. Please excuse the people in front of us but this is the best picture I got while toddler wrangling and trying to enjoy Arcade Fire. Time to get some kid ear muffs for future events like this.

    Yeah great seats dad! I have to look at the underwear the whole time. I thought Big bird was gonna be here? (LOL he looks like he is complaining to you)

    Heh. If I had been there sans-kid, I would have been up front losing a little bit of my hearing, getting sunburnt. But since I was trying to be all responsible-like, we sat way back so it wouldn’t be too loud and in the shade since he’d already gotten plenty of vitamin D by the time Arcade Fire was on. But he was rocking out the whole time until almost the end when he seriously needed a nap.
