Whenever he hears the water running for the bath, Ave does the superfast crawl to the bathroom. Previously, he took comfort in banging on the side of the tub and trying to touch the water as it comes out of the faucet. These days, he tries to jump in. An inch or two (or a lucky launching) and he’ll be able to dive in. Ah, toddlers are fun.

Apparently, YouTube rejected the bath video and flagged it as inappropriate content. We took meticulous care to make sure the video didn’t reveal any nether regions, but apparently babies in baths get filtered into the “nudity and/or exploitation” bin. At first I got mad and started flagging other videos of babies in baths or bare chested men, but it didn’t really make me feel better. So, alas you will have to just picture a splashy baby getting water all over the walls and blowing bubbles in the water. Sorry.
